Headers and footers are essential parts of your website’s design, and Elementor makes it easy to customize them. Here are two methods to edit your header and footer using Elementor templates:

Method 1: Edit Through Any Page Using Elementor

  1. Log into Your WordPress Admin Area:
    1. Enter your username and password to access the Dashboard.
  2. Navigate to a Page Using Elementor:
    1. Go to Pages > All Pages.
    2. Find any page you want to edit and click Edit with Elementor.
  3. Access Header or Footer:
    1. Once the Elementor editor loads, scroll to the top (for header) or bottom (for footer) of the page.
    2. Hover over the header or footer area until you see the blue outline and the Edit Section handle (six dots in a column). Click on this handle to edit the section.
  4. Edit the Header or Footer:
    1. The Elementor panel on the left will show settings for the selected section. You can edit the content, style, and advanced settings just like any other Elementor element.
    2. Content: Modify text, images, links, and other content.
    3. Style: Change background colors, typography, spacing, and more.
    4. Advanced: Adjust margins, padding, motion effects, and responsive settings.
  5. Save Your Changes:
    1. Click the green Update button at the bottom of the Elementor panel to save your changes.

Method 2: Edit Through Saved Templates

  1. Log into Your WordPress Admin Area:

  2. Navigate to Saved Templates:

  3. Find the Header or Footer Template:
    1. Click on the All tab to see all saved templates.
    2. Locate your header or footer template in the list. You can use the search bar to quickly find it by typing “header” or “footer.”
  4. Edit the Header or Footer Template:
    1. Hover over the template you want to edit and click Edit with Elementor.
  5. Edit the Template:
    1. The Elementor editor will load the header or footer template. Use the Elementor panel on the left to make your desired changes.
    2. Content: Modify text, images, links, and other content.
    3. Style: Change background colors, typography, spacing, and more.
    4. Advanced: Adjust margins, padding, motion effects, and responsive settings.
